Fourth Wednesday of every month @ 7 PM, “Taize at St. Paul” They would like to invite all of you to join us in contemplative worship, simple song, and prayer in the spirit of Taize. It will be held at Saint Paul Lutheran Church (1600 Grant Street) at the edge of downtown. We invite all faiths to join us! Please note that parking is available and free on the streets surrounding the church after 6pm. Each Sunday at 5 pm The Threshold: A Contemplative Experience, you’re invited to worship in the style of the Taizé Community at “The Threshold,” meeting in the Sanctuary of The Highland Park Presbyterian Church at 29th and Julian in the Highlands neighborhood of Denver. This style of prayer, with roots in the Burgundy region of France, incorporates scripture readings, prayerful singing and silence. The National Episcopal Peace Fellowship, your Colorado chapter, and the Cathedral of St. John in the Wilderness are teaming up to offer a spiritual, intellectual, and recreational feast of peacemaking. Friday evening we will have a wonderful liturgy and social event celebrating peace-making. Saturday we'll have a world-class training that you can use in your personal, work, church and community life for creating a culture of peace. Sunday we'll gather in Estes park for some relaxed liturgy and time in the mountains. More details to follow soon.
